It’s time for another restaurant highlight!! Read this article to learn more about Hutchins, Karli’s favorite place to eat in the area.
“I fell in love with Texas BBQ at the age of 14 years old.” - Roy Hutchins, founder
Hutchins is a popular barbecue restaurant in the DFW area. It began in Princeton, Texas in 1978. Originally, it was known as “Roy’s Steakhouse” and was run through Roy’s small home. In 1991, the restaurant had to move to a larger location to keep up with the amount of growing fans.
After suffering through a bad fire in 2012, the restaurant rose back to fame with Roy’s 3 sons running the business. Soon after, Hutchins made it into the “Top 50 BBQ Joints in the World.” They have since opened a second location in Frisco!
Here are some photos of their famous food!
