We hope everybody had a great July! Coming into August, Hip wants to keep you all in the know of what is happening in DFW this month! With back to school shopping and school starting up, this can be a busy month. Here are some community events for you to attend if you want a break and want to spend time in the community.

1) Great Harvest in Frisco

When: Every Thursday in August, 2-4pm

If you haven’t seen our posts, you don’t want to miss the Hip Realty Group events happening at Great Harvest this month! Every Thursday from 2-4pm we will be hanging out at Great Harvest and eating lots of great treats. Come join us and get some free Hip gear and a free treat! If you have extra school supplies, you can bring them to donate to the Boys & Girls Club. This is the perfect chance to support your community, a small business and get some free stuff!

2) Chocolate & Art Show Dallas

When: Thursday, August 19th and Friday, August 20th at 8pm

This is the 10 year anniversary of this event! There is something for everyone here with live music, vendors, face paint and free chocolate. It is held at the Dallas Arts District and costs about $15-50 per ticket. Don’t miss out on this classic community event.

3) Best of Broadway: Wicked

When: 7:30pm daily from August 3rd through September 5th

If you are a fan of the popular Broadway show Wicked, you have to go see the show performed at Music Hall at Fair Park! These actors and the music will not disappoint. This is a great family musical to watch if you would like to spend an evening at the theater. Click here to get tickets.

4) Nerf Challenge

When: Every Thursday and Friday from 2-8pm through August 23rd. Every weekend day from 12pm-10pm through August 8th.

Whether your kid is a huge fan of Nerf or you are, this is an event packed full of fun. Located in Dallas, this Nerf war features new technology that all enthusiasts will love. Enjoy an adrenaline-filled night filled with other super fans and learn more about all that’s new with Nerf!
